I know that there are a lot of fast food commercials but now that I'm not eating fast food I REALLY notice them! It doesn't really bother me much, it's just so annoying. What I find most annoying about them is when they advertise something new, or "limited time". It makes me feel like I have to try it because I might miss out. Oh don't get me started on monopoly time at mc Donald's (usually my favorite time of year)! That is how they get ya, by luring you in but I'm not that easily caught! I am very strong and refuse to bite when the bate is thrown.
I do feel a change by cutting out fast food. I don't see a change but that's not what my goal was. My specific goal this month was to just prove to my self that I didn't NEED fast food. I see that now. It's weird but I kinda feel a little healthier. I notice little things like I'm not as sleepy in the mornings when I wake up. It's like I get better sleep. A physical thing I have noticed is my legs haven't gotten swollen this month. I never said anything to anyone but I'm sure it was noticed. Before cutting out fast food and sodas my legs would swell almost on everyday. They didn't hurt but I knew it shouldn't be happening. I also know it's an issue that should be looked at by a doctor but if I can fix the problem with out medicin that is exactly what I will do.
Doctors...lets just say I'm NOT very fond of them. I know some are good and they mean well when they try to make you better but stuffing pills down someone's mouth isn't always the answer. (This blog just made a left turn!) I had to watch my grandmother get better and worse from different medications she was on. Side effects from one medication would make something else go wrong and then she would need more medication. I refuse to do that. Especially when I see its happening to my mom now.
Wow apperntly I needed to get that off my chest. Well that's all for now. I have no idea why I had all this on my mind as soon as I woke up at 6 AM this morning. Hope your day is amazing! XOXO
